The Emerald Isle has not known revival in the past 1,500 years. The latest statistics show that only 1/4 of 1% of the Republic of Ireland claim to be born again. Change Ireland exists to see this country transformed for God’s purposes.

Our mission is to plant new churches and launch Master’s Commission, a two-year discipleship program for college age students, throughout the Republic.

John & Julie Sayre
Missionaries to Ireland

John Sayre was born and raised in Ohio where he graduated from Southern High School in 1978. After moving to Florida with his parents, John attended Southeastern University, Lakeland Florida, where he graduated in 1982 with a B.A. in Biblical Theology and a minor in Education.

He met Julie Lambert at S.U., they fell in love, and were married July 31st, 1982. Together they taught school for two years, youth pastored for seven, and pastored for thirteen. Their two pastorates were both church plants; first in Madison, Al. and the other in Montgomery, Alabama.

Today they are fulfilling God’s calling as Assembly of God World Missionaries to Ireland. They were fully appointed in April 2005, and their first term will begin June 2006.
