News & Updates

Things are really changing here for us. The Lord is opening doors really fast for us and we are very excited. We have now been in Ireland for 7 months feeling somewhat settled we still have our moments but we know the Lord is in control and at those moments we know to “be still and know that he is God”.
As of about two months ago we started the beginnings of our Masters Commission Kildare, and now we will open the fall of 2007. We are so excited about what God is doing. Please contact us if you want more info about the program we would love to hear from you.
We have finally sold our house in the states so that has been a huge burden lifted off of us we thank the Lord for being so faithful to us for the past 7 months.
Please be praying for us we are also at the early stages of planting the church in Kildare we have a building that has been provided and now we are waiting for God’s timing of when we will be opening.
So you can see a lot of things are happening!
Keep Ireland in your prayer believing to see a mighty out pouring of God’s love on this nation.

Well it is now four months that we have been living in Ireland. A lot of things have happened, we have been working with Open Arms Church and seeing God move mightily, The church is now running around 260 in attendance and trying to get into a new sanctuary by Christmas (I think that one may be full by the time we move in it). John and I have started our home group which meets on Tuesday nights we are running around 14 in attendance that has been very exciting for us to be a part of. We are also in the process of planning “The Apprenticeship” which is a disciplship program for young people. We are hoping to have it up and running by this summer. We would like to have this summer and next summer as trial programs and run them for about 8 weeks and then by the fall of 2008 having a full program running the full year. Please keep us in your prayers and believe with us to see that come to full fruition. We are loving it here in Ireland things are going really well but we still have a home in the states that hasn’t sold, so we are still in need of a miracle. It is quite a lesson we are learning living totally by faith and believing the Lord to take care of us in every thing. “Casting all your cares upon Him for He cares for you” That is a scripture John always quoted as a young child in Sunday School I believe the Lord was preparing him then, because he still quotes it today.

Well we have now been in Ireland for two weeks things are really going good. It takes a lot of time to get everything set up. It is really wild trying to get a bank account set up, getting our vehicle, you name it its hard but it will come to pass. We have a great home that we are existing in until our crate arrives which is in port but the red tape to get it out of port is huge, please be praying. Also any of you reading please be in prayer we have really stepped out in faith coming on to Ireland. Our home in the states has not sold, we can survive for a couple of months but after that we are needing desperate prayer. So please keep us in your prayers.
Today is Tyler’s birthday he is our youngest which today he turned 20 so now I no longer have teenagers. Wow that seems unreal, but anyway he is doing great he has met a lot of new friends and having a great time. He also will be starting college in September so please keep him in your prayers.
We would love to hear from you so please send emails
Thanks for all who have helped us in this ministry you will also be blessed as you are a blessing to us.

Wow what a week the Sayre family has had. This week was our District Council for the State of Alabama. It was held in Montgomery AL. On Wednesday we had our Missions Service with Gerald Branam as the special speaker, at the end of the service Pastor Ken Draughon brought up the missionary candidates introduced us and asked the people to, “help get these missionaries out of here” and that is exactly what happened. Our monthly budget was met so we are on our way to Ireland. What a miracle it was! Not just us but for all the misionaries. Pastor Ken said there was right at $318,000.00 raised for missions!!!

For me sitting in that service there was a lot of memories. That was the church that my dad had actually started, I grew up in that church, John and I were married there, and then for the miracle of our funds to come in. I thought Lord you work everything out for those who love you and serve you. It was just a great emotional moment for me as the money was being raised.

It is just an awesome experience serving the Lord and watching all the miracles he does. Just believe for whatever you need and speak it out and watch what God will do.

We are leaving March 10 and will be heading to Florida to travel and visit churches. We will be in Clearwater, Ft. Myers, Lakeland, and Plant City. I will even be in a church speaking on my own which is a first, and where I will be will be is a first for them having someone in, that is so exciting to me. By the way this is Julie speaking at this time.

We are so excited about what the Lord is doing its just so neat watching the miracles from God. We are about 82% of our monthly budget, which is getting us closer to being able to get to Ireland. The churches have just been great in supporting us in every way.
Right now while I am writing I am just overwhemled with excitement of the anticiptaion of arriving in Ireland.
Please keep praying for us and keeping in touch we love hearing from you and seeing how God is moving also in your life.

We have just arrived back from visiting Ireland. John fell in love with it all over again, Tyler and I fell in love with it for the first time. The people in Ireland are so hospitable. None of us wanted to leave. But we are home again, and back into full itineration. We are now at 72% of our needed monthly budget, and it is exciting to see all of the miracles God is doing for us. Please keep us in your prayers, and stay in touch. We love hearing from you all.

We have just gotten home, from traveling for the month of December. Just want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. May God richly bless you in this new year to come. We will be visiting Ireland in the month of January. Please keep us in your prayers, and check back for more updates soon!

Yours For Ireland,
John & Julie Sayre
